Staff: Milwaukee and Southeast Region Parents Plus Office

Susan Rodriguez, Executive Director

Ms. Rodriguez has a Master's Degree in Social Work and is a licensed family therapist in the State of Wisconsin. Susan has had over twenty years of experience in working with low income families in the Milwaukee community. Ms. Rodriguez is certified as a Parents as Teachers supervisor and has received training at the National Network of Partnership Schools (Joyce Epstein; Johns Hopkins University) as a facilitator in the development of Family/School/Community Action Teams. She is also a certified trainer in Dr. Ruby Payne's "A Framework for Understanding Poverty."

Patrice Knox, Partnership Coordinator

Patrice holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Upper Iowa University.  Patrice has been a parent educator since 1996, trained in Parents as Teachers, Star Parenting, and FAST, among others.

Trudy Ranallo, Parents are Key Coordinator

Trudy holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.  Trudy has also been a parent educator since 1996 and prior to that was a youth care worker for many years. She is also trained in Parents as Teachers, Star Parenting, FAST and Baby FAST.

Yvette Dobbs, Parent Information & Resource Center (PIRC) Director

Yvette holds a Master's Degree from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree from Dillard University.  She has more than 19 years of experience in non-profit management.  Yvette is very knowledgeable in the field of early childhood education and care.  She has been a Head Start Director and a Head Start Fellow at the University of California Los Angeles.

Tim Nelson, Wisconsin Alliance for Healthy Marriage (WAHM) Director

Tim holds a Master's degree from Fuller Theological Seminary and a BA in History from Whitworth University. Prior to working with Parents Plus, Tim supervised three faith-based Youth and Family programs serving diverse populations and at-risk adolescents. Tim joined the Parents Plus staff in July, 2008.

kareng Karen Graham, Wisconsin Alliance for Healthy Marriage (WAHM) Coordinator

Karen holds a Bachelor's Degree from Springfield College and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. She holds a certification in Human Resources and has been trained in Nurturing God’s Way, STAR Parenting and Effective Black Family Curriculums. She comes from a nonprofit background where she assisted in the start up and provided leadership for a Family Resource Center.

April Windham, Data & IT Manager

April holds a Master's Degree from Colorado Technical University in Management Information Systems-System Security and a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Technology from Cardinal Stritch University.  April joined the Parents Plus staff in June, 2007.

Chad Olle, Administrative/Marketing Coordinator

Chad Olle holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. Chad served as an AmeriCorps VISTA for a year before coming onboard as a full-time staff member in August, 2009.

Rachel Acord, Business Manager

Rachel Acord is a part-time employee working for Parents Plus since 1999. She is responsible for the accounting practice & reporting of the organization.

Eric Berg, Accountant

Eric holds an MBA from Lakeland College and Bachelor's degrees from UW Oshkosh and Lakeland College.  Eric has 15 years of Nonprofit Accounting experience.

Staff: Plymouth Parents Plus Office

Karen Apitz holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University Wisconsin Stout.  She has over 18 years of early childhood experience in teaching, administration, supervision, consulting, and home visitation.
