Provide developmental information for parents at all levels.
Collaborating with the Community
Assess your community to find others interested in improving children's academic achievement
Volunteering
Volunteers are not only the parents who are visible at school. Volunteers can do the work from many places if given the opportunity.
Communication
Two-way home-to-school and school-to-home communication is essential.
Decision Making
Include parents and students on decision making teams. This will ensure that the consumer is represented.
Learning at Home
Show parents how they can set up their home as a learning environment. Involve them with interactive homework.
