Wisconsin Alliance for Healthy Marriage (WAHM) is a partnership which joins community based organizations, family resource centers and families to provide a Healthy Marriage Education Program in urban and rural areas located in eight Wisconsin Counties including Milwaukee. Research has shown overwhelmingly that children raised in married households fare better than children who grow up in other family structures. The vision of WAHM mirrors the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families’ mission: “To help couples that choose to marry gain greater access to marriage education services that enable them to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to form and sustain healthy marriages.” Our three goals are to:

Parents Plus is the state's Parental Information and Resource Center, or PIRC. Our programs, funded through the US Department of Education, bring together parents, schools and communities to increase student achievement.
